This also was my first Manpower conference. Yes i remember the wave. And it did feel like God blew in on us. Man that was a unforgettable experience.
Oh yeah, 4digitz, If U were there we did the wave up in there !! when that wave came through, it was like the holyghost blew through the whole place.

Because someone says you are failure, does that make you one? And if they say that with conviction, is that true? Is it man that defines you or God? Whose opinion of you matters more, Jesus or man? Man can’t destroy your body and your soul just your body, but Jesus can destroy both in hell, and listening to destructive people opens up that path for you. So, destructive opinions and criticisms, take heed to none of it. See what Jesus has to say about what he thinks towards you (Jer 29:11).
YOU suffer because of the decisions YOU MAKE on a DAILY BASIS, not because of the decisions someone else made about you. The pervading thought throughout Genesis through Revelation is Accountability and ownership for YOUR OWN ACTIONS. Adam tried to blame his wife before JESUS for his actions, YET he was still judged by the LORD God Jesus for eating the fruit given to him by his wife, and PUNISHED for it. JESUS held ADAM ACCOUNTABLE for HIS OWN ACTIONS in eating the fruit, not his wife.
I was at this conference bacl in 1995 and it was powerful.
